As we continue to expand our presence and portfolio, we are looking for an experienced and strategic sales leader who can manage, grow, and foster relationships with key accounts, driving success for both the client and Jungheinrich. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Key Accounts: Oversee and grow strategic accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term success.
  • Develop Strategic Sales Plans: Identify new business opportunities, present tailored solutions, and drive sales growth within the material handling sector.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with operations, sales admin, and service teams to ensure seamless execution of client requirements.
  • Negotiate Contract & Close Deals: Lead the sales process, from proposal to contract negotiations, ensuring competitive pricing and superior service delivery.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to drive innovative solutions and maintain competitive edge.
  • Report & Forecast: Regularly track sales performance, forecast revenue, and report progress to leadership, providing data-driven insights.

What We are Looking For:

  • Industry Experience: A proven track record in sales and business development within the material handling equipment industry or related fields.
  • Relationship Builder: Ability to engage with senior-level decision-makers and manage complex, multi-million-rand accounts. 
  • Sales Experience: Strong understanding of consultative selling techniques, customer needs analysis, and sales cycle management.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to think big picture while executing day-to-day responsibilities with precision and focus on achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent Communication: Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to address client challenges with innovative solutions, providing tailored recommendations to drive long-term business success.
  • Result-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets and contribute to organisational growth.
