Automated high-lift trucks are suitable for storing and retrieving goods at rack heights of up to 6 meters. They also offer a great degree of efficiency and flexibility for transport tasks within warehouses and production environments. Our mobile robots are able to pick up loads weighing up to 1,700 kg. High-stack trucks particularly show their strengths in production environments as well, with the operation of conveyor technology and the use of static stations for pickup and depositing all possible. The employees of commercial vehicle manufacturer MAN have welcomed a powerful new assistant at the company's Salzgitter site: The Jungheinrich ERC 215a automated stacker truck, a versatile automated guided vehicle system, is ensuring a continuous flow of goods in three-shift warehouse operation.
In the warehouse our customer RIKA, a sheet components manufacturer with 185 employees, relies on a successful combination of nine EKS 215a Automated Guided Vehicles, lithium-ion technology with automatic charging stations and a logistics interface for optimum process control.
Integrated into your system landscape
Mobile robots from Jungheinrich can be used as a stand-alone system or as a networked system. In a stand-alone system, our trucks communicate with their peripherals via the mobile robots’ system (for example with high-speed doors or fire doors) and otherwise operate autonomously in your company. To fully map your end-to-end processes, we can also connect our networked system to an ERP system and thus integrate it into your IT landscape. This is made possible thanks to our award-winning Jungheinrich Logistics Interface.
If you already have experience with AGV or AMR in your company, we can also connect our mobile robots to corresponding systems via the standardised VDA 5050 interface.
