Jungheinrich at LogiMAT 2022: New Dimension in Intralogistics

LogiMAT had to be cancelled twice in succession due to the pandemic. This year the trade fair will finally take place again. As in pre-Corona times, Jungheinrich is once again the biggest exhibitor.

  • With 1,160 square metres of stand space, Jungheinrich is once again the largest exhibitor at LogiMAT
  • Product launch announced that will “change space and time”
  • Sustainable intralogistics highlights in automation, digitalisation and e-mobility
  • Digital event brings Jungheinrich's LogiMAT presence to the web

On its stand, the company is showcasing everything for the warehouse of the future and has announced a very special product launch for the first day of the fair.

Those who want to shape intralogistics of the future must tread new paths, constantly rethink processes and discover new dimensions. The fact that Jungheinrich has always done this with great passion can be witnessed at this year's LogiMAT from 31 May to 2 June in Stuttgart. With its 1160-square-metre stand in Hall 9 plus additional outdoor space between Halls 7 and 9, the intralogistics expert from Hamburg is once again the largest exhibitor at the industry's leading trade fair this year, showcasing its latest sustainable innovations in automation, digitalisation and e-mobility.

"We are making intralogistics more efficient and sustainable," explains Jungheinrich Chief Sales Officer Christian Erlach, announcing a product launch for 31st May, the opening day of LogiMAT, that will “change space and time”. What exactly it will be is still a secret. All the company has said so far is that it is a completely new, self-contained intralogistics solution. "We will present a completely new product with which we will achieve a new dimension of efficiency in our customers' warehouses," says Erlach.

As a further highlight, LogiMAT visitors can experience Jungheinrich brand ambassador Nico Rosberg at the Jungheinrich stand on the first day of the trade fair. The sustainability entrepreneur and 2016 Formula 1 World Champion is a prominent advocate of electromobility and sustainable entrepreneurship. "Jungheinrich and I have a common goal: to make the world more sustainable with e-mobility and smart technologies," says Rosberg.

Jungheinrich will also be presenting its broad portfolio of automated storage systems and mobile robots at LogiMAT 2022. With the latest addition of the Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) arculee to its range of automated guided vehicles (AGVs), Jungheinrich now covers an even wider spectrum of solutions, ranging from low-lift and high-lift tasks, VNA storage, floor-to-floor transports, load pulling, underload transports to robotics-to-goods. Highlights on the Jungheinrich stand will be the Soto robot from Jungheinrich partner Magazino, the EKS 215a automated guided vehicle nominated for the IFOY Award and the latest member of the Jungheinrich family: the AMR arculee from arculus.

The latest POWERLiNE lithium-ion trucks can also be found on the Jungheinrich stand. These include the electric high-lift truck ERD 220i, nominated for the IFOY Award, and the electric low-lift truck ERE 225i. Jungheinrich is a pioneer of lithium-ion technology in intralogistics. With the concept of integrated lithium-ion batteries, Jungheinrich has once again set a new industry standard. The result: significantly reduced truck dimensions, improved agility, increased comfort and greater safety. Another special feature of the POWERLiNE trucks: they are completely CO2-neutral until delivery. Overall, lithium-ion technology makes a major contribution to more sustainability in intralogistics. It convinces with reliably high performance at reduced energy consumption, fast charging times and freedom from maintenance.

For all those who cannot come to LogiMAT in Stuttgart in person, Jungheinrich will also be presenting the highlights of the trade fair as part of a digital event on 9 June 2022. In web sessions and virtual showrooms, visitors can learn about how Jungheinrich is shaping the warehouse of the future and get advice from Jungheinrich employees in a personal exchange.
